And The Candidates Are...?

Oh, you poor, poor republicans! My heart so goes out to you! Romney, Giuliani, McCain, oh my! To cite Bill Maher: “Two of these three candidates have had at least two wives and neither of them is the Mormon!” All three are fervent supporters of both the Iraq War as well as the so-called ‘surge’. So for whom are you right-wing nuts going to cast your ballot? Will you even bother rocking the vote? First off, let me say: right now, who gives a rat’s ass? Can we try, for one or maybe even two seconds to stay focused on the present state of affairs and not obsess over a future (2008) that may see this country so depleted as a world power (much less THE world power) it wouldn’t matter if Jesus Christ himself were elected president? If all these ‘candidates’ from both parties want to keep bandying over who is most electable, who has the most baggage, experience, Hollywood moguls in their pockets, etc. then this country they all claim to love so much will certainly be handed back to us all in a hand basket.
