Casual Friday Entry

So… as I generally like to do for a few hours every day, I was sitting around twiddling my thumbs and it occurred to me: when would be a better time than the present to reconsider this country’s… immigration policies?! Yes, you heard me correctly; after all, I figure everything else is turning up roses concerning the good old US of A that we really should focus our attention on those damn illegals! Well, I suppose when you’re the Bush administration and literally everything else in your bag o’tricks has backfired, it’s definitely time to tackle an issue that at least has an inkling of a chance for a good outcome! Many thanks to CNN/The Associated Press for reporting this earth-shattering development, if we stay tuned we should find out any moment now if the President prefers boxers, briefs, or maybe even boxer-briefs! Oh wait, that’s the lead story on Fox News right now, never mind.

Hilariously enough, The New York Times reported today (“U.S. Feels Sting of Winning Saudi Help With Other Arabs” pg. A6) that American officials were ‘caught off guard by remarks by the Saudi king… and were seeking clarification.’ Perhaps said American officials don’t trust those Arab League translators or something, like maybe Abdullah said ‘congenial occupation’ and not ‘illegal occupation’? No, seems to me his clarity is crystal and it is highly unfortunate the Shite House continues to simply plead ignorance.
