Novak in Black

These military spending bill talking points being repeatedly spewed by President Bush and co are really becoming truly unbelievable. The bottom line is that he and his neocon buddies have screwed up in ways never thought possible, and now the Bushies are simply looking to pass the buck onto whoever they can: It’s the Iranians, no it’s the Syrians, no it’s those flying monkeys, no wait; it’s that democrat party! Yeah, that’s it!

But seriously, listen to these points:

a) Failure to approve the $100,000,000,000.00 (one hundred billion) requested would prolong tours in Iraq for some and shorten time at home for others... Uh, Mr. President, THAT’S ALREADY HAPPENING!!!

b) If he does not receive a bill he wants to sign by mid-April, i.e. with no strings attached, the Army would be forced to consider curtailing equipment purchases and repairs and delay the training of National Guard and Reserve units… Guess what? ALL THAT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED TOO!!!

Sheesh! And they say this guy is isolated and out of touch with reality! “How did he define ‘isolated?’ ” was Bush’s response when asked about, get this, a Bob Novak article! Man, you know you’re in bad shape for a Republican when friggin’ Novak starts writing shit about you!
