The Spitz Hits the Fan

What to say about our embattled (soon to be ex-) governor… Foremost, it is apparent that if the Iraq occupation had more prostitution involved and was likewise a Democratic foreign policy decision; it would have already been forced to resign. Same goes for ‘President’ Bush, who is at present in the Big Apple and thereby made my morning commute look a little something like Baghdad. Obviously, wrong is wrong, and if you get caught doing something wrong (much less, illegal) you should suffer consequences. If you’re listening, David Vitter, that especially means YOU.
That being said, it seems that if every politician in the whole wide world were forced to step down due to their various peccadilloes, they would be as rare as the present day polar bear. I especially appreciated soon to be Governor Patterson’s response to an imbecilic reporter’s imbecilic question as to whether or not he has patronized any prostitutes: “Only the lobbyists.”
However, it has been hinted at that the manner in which the Emperor’s Club VIP investigation was leaked to the press bear the embarrassing trademarks of Republican smear-jobs, a la Alabama’s former Governor, Don Siegelman. I presume that Eliot Spitzer will not be spending time in jail, though. Mr. Spitzer actually gave a commencement address at my college graduation ceremony and I was thoroughly impressed by his speech. I can’t say I remember the exact context, but the way he presented himself both physically and verbally was very commanding and strong – brimming with confidence. Impressively, he was still able to convey that strength and candor under the worst possible political circumstances during his final two speeches as New York State Governor. He obviously had the ambition of being the first Jewish President of the United States and his career certainly seemed to be headed in that direction, yet he put it best when he said that he will view his brief term not for what he accomplished but for what could have been. It is truly amazing how much can change in a New York minute.

TELL ME WHY THE RILEY FAMILY THINKS THAT THEY ARE IMMUNED TO PROSECUTION?
Many large government/military contracts and government grants have magically been steered to Alabama to make Bob Riley look good. Why?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for receiving millions of dollars from Mississippi casinos lobbyist Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon?

Why has Rob Riley boldly been willing to risk his law license and prison sentences to be part of this illegal activity?

Why have U.S Attorneys been willing to risk their law licenses and prison sentences to conspire with the Rileys?

Why does Donald and Samuel Newhouse (owners of Newhouse/Advance Publications Inc. their assets are worth 8 billion each) only print half truths about Alabama political figures and at the same time run front page articles to calm and deceive Alabama citizens so that the biggest illegal operations in the history of Alabama can conduct illegal activities. These brothers claim to be Democrats and decedents of Jewish immigrants.

Why did Bush arrange special retirement incentives for his Secret Service agent-in-charge Christopher Murphy to become part of Riley's corrupt operation?
