Why, oh why was a bigger deal not made of the fact that Sy Hersh uncovered the evil administration’s plans for attacking Iran?! Is this not considered ‘News Fit to Print’?! Come on now national press corps! Don’t you want to redeem yourselves after screwing up on the War in Iraq so royally? Where’s you’re sense of duty? Of purpose? Where’s your goddamn raison d’etre?!?! The American people HAVE to know what’s going on and more of you than just Sy Hersh and a couple handful of others have to do your job and raise hell! It’s all well and good that some attention is finally being paid to the Bushies’ and their political party’s indiscretions here at home, (see Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, Alberto Gonzales, Paul Wolfowitz is technically abroad since it’s the World Bank – but these people get away with so much I’m discounting the technicality) but to lose sight of how badly and broadly they are screwing us internationally will be a potentially tragic error. Don't let the smoking gun be a bullshit news column.
